2022 Wonderfully Wild Winter!
Welcome to the Hikers Anonymous™ 2022 Wonderfully Wild Winter! running from Tuesday, December 21, 2021 through Monday, March 21, 2022.
Hikers know that the true New Year's Day is December 21, when the winter hiking season begins!
Who knows what Old Man Winter has in store for us? Will it be deep, powdery snow? Will it be hard, treacherous ice? Winter hiking requires strategic planning and flexibilty, but offers so much beauty and reward. It's a good time to buddy up and look out for each other. Hike safe and smart with an early start.
The winter season is an especially fun and exciting time for the aspirants. While one bunch is lining up and racing to the tops of four mountains, those who play the long game are planning a more special finish with a Single Season Winter 35'R Double or Triple Decker. Either way, they are on their way to some awesome winter hiking fun in the Catskill High Peaks and we hope to see them on the top!
2022 Simply Sublime Spring!
Welcome to the Hikers Anonymous™ 2022 Simply Sublime Spring! running from Tuesday, March 22, 2022 through Tuesday, June 21, 2022.
We had an amazing winter season, with hikers completing 39 Single Season Winter 35'R milestones! There were Double and Triple Deckers, a few multiple rounds, a FOUR in a ROW, a Catskill High Peaks 4 Seasons and two Catskill 420 Grid completions. The popularity of the Round in a Month milestone continues to grow. Stay tuned to some tweaks to our hiking milestones and some new things on the way!
With the excitement of the winter season just behind us, hikers kicked off the Hikers Anonymous™ 2022 Simply Sublime Spring! with a fun trek across SIX peaks on a beautiful spring Tuesday. What a wonderful time to be in the mountains we love!
2022 Sizzling Summer!

Things are heating up here in the Catskill High Peaks and at the Hikers Anonymous™ website!
We have some new things that you'll see right away and some that will be rolling out during the Sizzling Summer.
The Hikers Anonymous™ 2022 Simply Sublime Spring! season was truly amazing with hikers completing 33 Single Season Spring 35'R milestones! Seven hikers completed the coveted Single Season 35'R FOUR in a ROW and our two front runners are still hiking strong having consecutively completed a Single Season 35'R for 3 years straight!
While the Hikers Anonymous™ ROUND in a MONTH milestone continues to grow, we are looking forward to a steady stream of Catskill 420 Grid finishers throughout the summer. Sizzling, indeed!
If SIX was NINE... Last season it was the SIX, but it seems like the Hikers Anonymous™ 2022 Sizzling Summer! kickoff hike of choice this season is the Catskill Nine.

Single Season 35'R
FOUR in a ROW
The Single Season 35'R FOUR in a ROW patch is available to hikers who have completed four consecutive Catskill Single Season 35'R milestones.
The Current Streak, Longest Streak, and FOUR in a ROW statistics are updated at the end of each season.
ROUND in a MONTH / ROLLING 420
The ROUND in a MONTH report tracks climbs of The Catskill 35 peaks for the current month. Hikers who climb each of The Catskill 35 in a single month earn the ROUND in a MONTH milestone and are listed on the Recent Milestones page.
Hikers who are able to string 12 consecutive ROUND in a MONTH milestones together will complete the ROLLING 420 milestone and if those 12 milestones span January through December, the hiker will have completed the CALENDAR YEAR 420 milestone. Each of these milestones will be listed on the Recent Milestones page.
The ROLLING 420 summary section shows climbs completed during the last rolling twelve month period.

The Catskill 420 Grid report shows the hiker's progress in completing the Catskill 420 Grid. You can see which hikers are closest to the finish line on this report.
Catskill 420 Grid - This Month
This Progress Report focuses on the hiker's progress in completing the climbs of The Catskill 35 peaks for the current month.
The Catskill 35 - Aspirant Report
The Aspirant Report shows the progress of hikers towards the completion of the first round of The Catskill 35 as well as the pursuit of the "33 plus 4". Hikers are shown on this report until they have completed both milestones and have reported their assigned 3500 Club number to Hikers Anonymous™ for inclusion on the Recent Milestones page.
